I'm an Android developer and powerlifter/avid gym fan. I've been training for over 18 years. I wanted to make a gym app for myself to quickly look up exercises and log what I do each session.
I have written each exercise to achieve good form based on my experiences in the gym as well as countless books and articles I have read from professionals over the years; not just copying text from other fitness websites.
